How does it work?

After your babysitting interview, you will join a group we have. The Elite Nanny Team posts gig jobs to that group. The first person to respond gets the temporary job!

Earn $20-$40 an hour.

Who are the best candidates to become a gig nanny?

The ideal babysitting candidate will have worked with a family unrelated to you for at least two years. Daycare assistant teachers, infant specialists, and toddler teachers are superb candidates. In addition, former nannies and childcare professionals are encouraged to apply for this temporary job.

Most babysitting jobs are based in downtown Minneapolis, so please be local to the area and have an excellent working car.

Professional Babysitting Preferences

You are legally authorized to work in the United States or have equivalent U.S. work authorization.

Childcare applicants may have a high school degree, GED, or equivalent.

Candidates with at least two years of paid experience working professionally with children are needed.

You may have previous Early Childhood Education experience and/or college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related elementary school field (preferred but not required)

You may have worked in a daycare as a teacher’s assistant, as a childcare teacher, or as another early childhood educator.

The nanny will need a reliable automobile and a clean driving record.

CPR/First Aid certification.
