We are currently seeking expressions of interest in the position of Hemato-Oncology Consultant in Dammam.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have current medical license to practice.

Western training: American Board/ UK CCT/ Australia or NZ Royal College Fellowship/ Western European Specialisation Board.

Experience: 3 to 5 years' post board or specialisation certification experience depending on country of origin to qualify for Consultant with the Saudi Council.

Fluent in Arabic

Please note that the standard working week is 48 hours / 6 days as per Saudi labour law.

Typical job duties include making cancer diagnoses, keeping records of patients' test results and physical examinations, writing prescriptions, providing specific cancer information to patients, monitoring treatment plans and improving patients' quality of life. A hematologist oncologist treats cancer in patients of all ages, although some might get extra training in pediatric oncology or certain types of blood cancers. Types of blood cancers they might treat include: Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple myeloma, diagnosing and treating blood diseases
