Fashon Designer

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of style, a deep understanding of current fashion trends, and the ability to translate concepts into unique and marketable clothing designs.

Responsibilities:

Research current fashion trends, materials, and styles to conceptualize and develop new collections.

Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings of designs using traditional or digital methods.

Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop prototypes and samples.

Select fabrics, trims, and materials for each collection, considering quality, cost, and aesthetic.

Experiment with colors, textures, and patterns to create innovative and visually appealing designs.

Stay updated on market demands and consumer preferences to ensure designs align with target audiences.

Oversee the entire design process from conception to final production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure accurate execution of designs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar role within the fashion industry.

Proficiency in design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and knowledge of CAD software for technical drawings is a plus.

Strong sketching and illustration skills to convey design ideas.

Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.

Creative flair, originality, and an eye for detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with pattern-making and draping techniques.

Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices.

Experience with fashion merchandising or branding.

Familiarity with fashion history and global trends.
