Tasks and corresponding deliverables
Prepare monthly financial reports including
Ensure delivery of all expenditure documentation
o Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized financial report (excel based)
Support the MR Foundation Project Manager with the project monitoring
o Entering MR membership data into a monitoring tool
o Uploading participant lists, photos, and agendas into a monitoring tool
o Interview MR members regarding their competence increase and upload results into a monitoring tool
o Interview MR members regarding their increased income opportunities and
upload results into a monitoring tool
Update the assets inventory database
• Prepare invoice and billing reports
• Track payment of utility bills ensuring they are paid promptly
• Responsible for stationery and office supplies; ensuring adequate and timely service of supplies,
• Work with the MR Manager to source for quotations and provide cost
analysis for supplies, equipment, and services,
• Establish and maintain cash controls
Monitor bank account and cash-on-hand
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Qualifications required
• University degree in administration or financing related Study, i.e. MBA
• Proven experience in managing accounts
• Al least 3 years of professional experience
Perseverance within the team to ensure necessary documentation
• Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure
• Interview skills and availability to travel to Machinery Rings
Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and self-organized,
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and similar programs
Fluent in English
Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya/Ruanda.
