Salary:

Shrek On Tour, LLC seeks an experienced Head Electrician /L1 to join the in-progress North American bus & truck Tour of Shrek The Musical. Theatrical touring experience is required. Reporting to the Head Carpenter and Company Manager, the Head Electrician/L1 is responsible for all aspects of lighting in the production. This includes overseeing the L2 and operating the show on a nightly basis.

Responsibilities:

Daily point of contact for local head lighting tech.

With the L2, fly, and tech the lighting rig.

Update the focus positions of the programmed show daily and clone in local lighting fixtures when needed. Operate the ETC Eos for the show run.

With the Head Carpenter and Stage Manager, participate in the floor mark to ensure the light trusses are hung in the correct position.

Qualifications:

Three or more years of experience in a Head Electrician or similar role.

One or more years of theatrical touring experience.

Must have experience in ETC Eos operation.

Must hold a current passport and have no international travel restrictions.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and demonstrated sound judgment when issues must be escalated.

Details:

Rate starts at $1700 per week plus per diem.

Single hotel accommodations

The company pays for all travel.

Position to start 6/3 with travel to meet the tour
