Hiring: Assistant General Manager
Location: Oxon Mill, MD
The Restaurant Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant. They assist in overseeing daily activities, including staff management, customer service standards, and operational efficiency. This role involves supporting the training and development of staff members, maintaining financial records, and contributing to budget planning and cost control efforts. Additionally, the Restaurant Assistant General Manager helps address any operational challenges, implements business strategies, and fosters a positive and cohesive team environment to uphold the restaurant's standards and enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent education (GED), required
Must have 3-5 Years Manager experience
Must be certified in all hourly positions and pass manager training within allotted time and have completed any additional training with regards to the Restaurant Manager position
Understanding of basic computer and internet navigation skills, required
Must demonstrate understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures and can coach and teach their team
Must pass a background and credit check
Flexibility to work different job functions, shifts, overtime
Must be able to work at any restaurant within region from a food/ alcohol licensing and transportation perspective.
