We’re looking for a curious, organized, detail-oriented, and assertive Project Manager, New Product Development to join our Product Development team, which is responsible for the development of new products and directing the continued success of existing products. This role will be responsible for facilitating the on-time completion of new product development Projects.

Position: Project Manager

Working Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm, EST

Salary Range: $2,000 - $3,000 USD.

Holidays: US holidays.

Type of contract: Independent contractor.

Payment Frequency: monthly.

A taste of the Project Manager, New Product Development role:

Kick off new projects by establishing the scope, timeline, and other pertinent details by

communicating with the relevant functions across the organization.

Use project management software (we use Monday.com) to break projects apart into

tasks with deadlines and other relevant details.

Lead efficient project meetings, focusing on improving clarity, identifying risks, and

removing blockers.

Monitor deadlines and follow up on any late deliverables.

Proactively escalate issues and potential risks to the project owner when relevant.

Identify and implement process improvements, particularly for processes that require collaboration cross-functionally.

Facilitate post-mortems to capture key learnings and drive continuous improvement.

Proactively identify resource constraints and escalate to the project owner and the manager of the team with the resource constraint.

What you’ll bring to the table:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years experience in project management roles.

Experience with project management tools and software such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or similar tools.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Understanding of marketing and advertising strategies and their impact on business goals.
