We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for a Channel Development Manager for a well-reputed company in the power and energy sector. As a Channel Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding our channel partner network. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with our company objectives and enhancing our market presence. You will be directly collaborating with the third parties, sales, and marketing teams to acquire new customer accounts and service existing ones.

Key responsibilities:

Channel Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy to identify and engage potential partners that align with our business goals.

Partner Management: Establish strong, collaborative relationships with existing and prospective channel partners to drive joint sales initiatives.

Sales Enablement: Provide partners with the necessary training, tools, and support to effectively sell our products/services.

Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on channel partner performance, implementing improvement strategies as needed.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the channel landscape.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure seamless execution of channel initiatives.

Negotiation: Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum of 5 years in channel development, partner management, or a related role, preferably within the [industry] sector.

Proven track record of developing and managing successful channel partner programs.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
