Responsibilities
Customer Relations:
Grow & develop strong carrier relationships.
Monitor and provide feedback on carrier overall performance to the Carrier Logistic Planner
Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are being executed as scheduled
Trace status of shipments and provide information back to Shipper Logistics Planner as needed
Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortage claims on shipments.
All orders accounted for in real time
In-transit issues communicated in real time
Reporting:
Create and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers
Onboarding new customers
Generate and analyze service and volume reports, including detailing deviations
Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on volume, revenue, service and margins for each customer
Manage EDI and order entry, striving for 100% EDI Compliance
Schedule picks and delivery of shipments

Measurement Responsibilities:
Ensure data integrity is high when managing and completing orders
Verify carrier data is accurate before completing orders
Other Responsibilities:
Support and replace other team members as needed
Skills and Abilities
Must be eager, up for new challenges, and not willing to settle
Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with good judgment, well organized, professional and detail oriented individual
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and take on additional tasks
A good knowledge of North American geography is an asset
Strong knowledge of current market trends is essential
Post-secondary education would be considered an asset
minimum of 2-5 years in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
Working knowledge of AS400 is preferred
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Able to work in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision
Work Environment:
Ability to work well under pressure and provide follow-up with strong attention to details.
