Let's paint the picture of the role:

Are you ready to provide expert technical service and ensure exceptional paint quality? We are seeking a skilled professional to offer technical advice on paint specifications and applications, ensuring all parties understand and meet the required standards. This role serves a diverse customer base, including civil and commercial sectors, heavy focus on protective coatings and renewable industry.

Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections to ensure paint is applied under acceptable conditions and according to specifications.

Provide technical advice and information on products as requested.

Liaise between International Paint, the Account Executive, customers, clients' representatives, and contractors.

Ensure all relevant documentation is available before meetings and project commencements.

Advise on paint specifications and provide recommendations for preparation and application.

Complete reports accurately and promptly, maintaining a daily logbook of all site and project details.

Coach and train TSR colleagues as required.

Assist with product testing and trials as required.

Comply with technical service-specific company HSE rules.

Represent International Paint's position in disputes and issue disclaimer letters when necessary.

Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical service, applicator supervisory, or QC environment.

NACE or FROSIO qualified (Preferably level 3).

Strong technical knowledge of protective coatings.

Understanding of inspection skills and procedures.

Experience in the coating industry, specifically methods of surface preparation and coating application.

Attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality.

Ability to make independent decisions and organize work.

Strong customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Diplomatic and able to resolve conflicts fairly and objectively.

Proficient in IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Proficiency in English is essential.

Full EU driving license.
