Haynes Development is seeking aFacilities Maintenance Technician with drive, passion, and energy to change people’s lives!

Responsible for an amazing mixed-use property and grounds consisting of 162-Unit luxury apartment complex within a newly developed commercial complex of approximately 300K square feet at Quarry Walk. A unique and stunning “town within a town” where all the daily needs of residents are steps away.

The assistant facilities manager reports directly to the Facilities Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

Duties include both the care and upkeep of 162 residential apartments, clubhouse and 300K square feet of commercial space. Places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality.

Along with Facilities Manager, responsible for all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties

General maintenance requests are carried out timely

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc. from building occupants to resolve needs and problems

Compile information necessary to ensure all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time, if applicable.

Expected to be familiar with the management contract with tenants, vendor agreements to provide prompt and accurate assistance depending upon the issues

Works closely with the Facilities Manager and Property Manager and performs all maintenance functions as needed to insure tenant satisfaction

May be on call and/or available for work on weekends (occasionally)

SKILLS

* basic carpentry

* ability to use various hand tools to perform maintenance duties

* experience in repairing/painting

* ability to assess and recommend corrective action in the repair and maintenance of apartments/property and commercial buildings

* communicates effectively with staff and tenants

* demonstrates a sense of urgency
