Our facility is in need of a full-time Retail Pharmacist

Pharmacist clinical activities include therapy assessment, care planning and medication reconciliation as they pertain to individual patients and the appropriate monitoring for effective care and positive patient outcome. Pharmacist will be responsible for filling medication orders in retail setting.

JOB SUMMARY:

Licensed Georgia Pharmacist. The Retail Outpatient pharmacist is responsible for the management of all aspects of outpatient pharmacy services retail, specialty and assists with transitions of care. Responsible for providing direction and leadership to pharmacy technicians who provide pharmaceutical care to patients. The pharmacist will lead the development and maintenance of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy patient care services.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.

Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Georgia.

Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education or subsequent training.
