Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Provides teller assistance to members and enhances members interactive banking experience via video technology.

Processes deposits to share, share draft, and other savings accounts.

Disburses cash or check withdrawals.

Receives loan payments and service charge payments for services.

Processes transfers between accounts as required.

Facilitates ITM process for members by providing step-by-step guidance through the ITM process.

Assists members with all routine teller machine transactions such as cash and check deposits, cash withdrawals, transfers, and account balance inquiries.

Projects good member relations while conveying a positive banking / member service experience utilizing video technology.

May recommend other bank products and/or services to meet the members’ needs.

Protects member confidentiality and privacy.

Identifies member cross selling opportunities of credit union products and makes referrals to appropriate credit union staff member. A referral is defined as informing members of the products the credit union has available for their benefit and encouraging the member to take advantage of the financial opportunities that these products offer.

Stays informed on general credit union information, such as rates on savings and loans, and other services available to members for referrals.

Focuses on individual goals and strives to achieve them.

Participates in weekly call back night. Contacts members for loan closing, negative shares, marketing campaign, or other credit union related matters as needed.

Participates in BSA and other required regulatory and credit union training programs; and receives a passing grade on all required tests.

Performs such other duties as might be assigned from time to time, including but not limited to, check encoding, stop payments, address changes, filing, microfilming, answer telephone, process mail, and assists employees in other departments as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus, one to three years related member service or sales experience.

General knowledge of Banking Laws and Regulations.

General knowledge of ATM procedures.

Bi-lingual fluent in both English and Spanish (optional, not required).

This individual must be available for scheduling during Credit Union operating hours. Staffing assignments are periodically adjusted to meet business needs. This position could be transferred to another office in the same geographic region at any time.
