Sr. Engg/Associate Manager -Electrical

Our Client is a subsidiary of a Japanese corporation that has businesses in various fields such as industrial gas, energy, agriculture, and health. They use green technology to harvest water from the humidity in the air and purify it with ozone. They also provides solutions for water scarcity and environmental issues

Location: Irungatukottai, Chennai

Position: Senior Manager/ Associate Manager

Roles & Responsibility:

• To ensure safe operation and preventive, predictive maintenance of HT/LT electrical equipments to avoid accidents and plant shutdowns / breakdowns on account of failure of electrical equipments

• To ensure 100% reliability of electrical equipments by managing spares and condition monitoring of HT/ LT equipments

• To ensure compliance with Statutory requirements, Internal and Audits recommendations.

• To maintain the lower spec power, compare to the targeted Spec power in accordance with process team for GAP saving.

• To ensure the readiness of Fire Hydrant system.

• To achieve and maintain 100% O&ED compliance.

Accountabilities:

• Ensuring safety and quality by following systems, Electrical Audit, Engineering Audit, IMS audit etc.

• Zero Breakdowns on account of failure of Electrical Equipments.

• To comply with Internal & external Audit recommendations.

• The job holder interacts with Manager/ engineer at site for instructions, guidance if required from reliability.

• The job needs to liaison with KEB Officials and Statutory Authorities like Electrical Inspectors in addition to dealing with Original Equipment Manufacturers, Material suppliers and Service Providers

• The job also needs dealing with our Process Engineers, Mechanical & Instrumentation Maintenance Teams, counterparts at other units & Finance Team

• The job holder assists colleagues in purchase of materials, services.

• Responsible for using of PM module and carrying out the jobs as per the PM schedule to ensure that NO maintenance jobs are pending.
