About the Role
The Financial Programmer is an integral part of our client's Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial and accounting applications for firmwide use, while participating in consultations with financial development, project management, and finance/accounting team members regarding system requirements and functionality. This role will be located in their Global Services office located in downtown Los Angeles.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing recommended solutions to financial application and reporting issues
Coding, testing, and debugging financial application systems and reporting solutions according to specifications
Producing prototypes during various stages of development as required
Assisting with the testing, documentation, and maintenance of financial applications and financial reporting
Maintaining financial applications and reporting solutions after implementation including user support and software upgrades
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows and Microsoft Office
Demonstrate proficiency with reporting tools (e.g., Active Reports, Business Objects, Tableau)
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills

And have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with financial systems and applications development
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the development of financial applications in web, client server, and n-tiered environments using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, bootstrap, Ajax, and JQuery, preferably
Strong experience using relational databases (e.g., SQL), preferably
Experience with data modeling, customization, and data conversion, preferably
Experience with Elite or 3E Billing and Financial Management System, preferably
Experience with 3E IDE, preferably
