Position: Sr.
Financial Planning Analyst Department: Finance Job Summary: Creates, organizes and disseminates financial, operational and marketing data to authorized personnel in the format required in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to): * Collects all pertinent data to generate the appropriate reports.
* Performs financial, operational and marketing analysis.
* Establishes and maintains files and records.
* Produces compliance reports as part of the minimum internal control process.
* Makes decisions exercising judgment and initiative in accordance with approved procedures and precedents.
* Monitors gaming performance through slot, table games, bingo, poker and sports book analysis.
* Analyzes and produces reports measuring key performance indicators.
* Participates in meetings with operational departments.
* Works to streamline the compilation of source data for use in reporting packages.
* Prepares back-up information for departments.
* Reviews department reports addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.
* Produces departmental records and reports with a very high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of Finance systems and accounting procedures.
* Knowledge of IGT Advantage.
* Strong knowledge of financial and economic theory with a foundation in statistical analysis.
* Ability to write SQL script pulling data from warehouse and using multiple platforms/systems (Infogenesis, V1, etc.) * Strong communication, organizational, planning and time management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
* Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services or similar report visualization programs preferred.
(Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.) * Proficiency in data process flow automation preferred (SQL Server Integration Services, Visual Studio, etc.) * Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to analyze data, interpret documents and make recommendations.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
* Ability to work under pressure and be detail oriented.
* Ability to work in an environment subject to secondary smoke.
Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field AND two (2) to four (4) years of related experience in the gaming or hospitality industry.
* Advanced knowledge in the use of databases and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel). * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting database applications * Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Preferred Requirements: * Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and/or CPA.
* Proficiency with Microsoft SQL.
