As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our Compliance Team and assist in managing external audits. The Junior Project Manager will report directly into the VP of Compliance and will work cross departmentally with various stakeholders.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Project Manager within our Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the coordination and execution of external audits. You will work closely with the Compliance, Security, IT, Internal Audit, and Legal teams to ensure that our processes, systems, and policies adhere to relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards. Our compliance program is growing, so there is a lot of opportunity to make a real impact and help shape the compliance program, as well as growth for the individual in this role.

The Impact You'll Make:

Audit Coordination: Assist in the planning and organization of external audits conducted by regulatory bodies or third-party auditors.

Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to compliance efforts, including audit schedules, findings, and remediation plans.

Compliance Monitoring: Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends related to data privacy regulations, providing insights and recommendations to enhance compliance efforts.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external auditors, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the audit process.

Risk Assessment: Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining compliance processes and enhancing efficiency in audit preparation and execution.

Training and Awareness: Support initiatives to raise awareness of compliance requirements among employees, providing training materials and guidance as needed.

Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate on special projects and initiatives within the Compliance Team as assigned.

What You'll Bring to Us:

1-2 years of experience in project management, compliance, or a similar role.

Fluency in English

Bachelor's degree - Preferred

Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and related frameworks. Knowledge of SOC 2 and/or SOX frameworks is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in documentation and reporting.

Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
