ERP Systems Analyst (SAP)

The ERP Systems Analyst will contribute to the Defence & Social Infrastructure Sector’s Defence Portfolio of contract services within the (Defence Transformation Group) in Systems and Technology solutions and can be located out of any Australian State with flexibility working from home.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Lead specific SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Logistics initiatives and project activity. Subject Matter Expert in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (ERP S4/Hana)

Ensure all Defence ERP Systems functional and technical needs in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Logistics are managed and supported.

All issues and queries are attended to and system failures are identified and resolved in a timely manner to ensure contract obligations are met.

Analyse SAP backend for system, master data and user related issues against solution design

First point of Functional & Technical escalation within the Systems & Technology Team for further analysis on CS/PM and HVS system related issues.

Interrogate and resolve technical issues of SAP backend interface via SAP AIF error monitoring dashboard

Debugging of system issues and provide technical assessment and remediation steps to expedite resolution.

Skills and qualifications you will bring:

You will have relevant qualifications and experience working as a Systems Analyst within SAP accompanied with:

SAP ECC6 (Ehp8-Desirable) or S4 HANA (Preferred)

Understand ABAP coding and SAP BDC’s and SAP Scripting

Experience with SAP full Project deployment/implementations

Experience with Client interface/integration via API/PI middleware

Debugging / Error handling via AIF monitor or SLG1

High level understanding of SAP EAM integration points to key modules

Structured User Acceptance testing acumen

SAP or third party Mobile Applications

Desirable:

SAP Certification desirable (EAM /CS/PM)

SAP API integration

SAP EAM configuration (highly desirable)

SQL scripting and database management

RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
