General Anesthesiologist

Job Description

A General Anesthesiologist is wanted to join a private practice anesthesia group at a community hospital near Parsippany, New Jersey.

The successful candidate will provide anesthesia services for thoracic, OB, neurology, regional, urology, healthy peds, general surgery, plastics, vascular, ENT, podiatry, and orthopedics. This position requires a 52-55 hour workweek and includes calls.

Requirements:

Ability to assess patient condition and administer appropriate treatments; knowledge of medical terminology and procedures; ability to recognize signs of distress or complications; ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions; ability to identify problems and develop solutions; ability to evaluate risks and benefits of potential actions.

Comprehensive knowledge of medication administration and its effects on patients undergoing procedures requiring general anesthesia.

New graduates or one or more years of experience providing anesthesia services.
