Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center is currently seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team!

As a Dining Room Supervisor, your primary responsibilities evolve around the guest experience. In Food Service, there are both service and product knowledge expectations, with a significant focus on maintaining a hospitable mindset. The team serves a combination of both Food & Beverage and Hotel Operations and does so in a variety of different venues.

Our attractive compensation package includes a $17-$19 hourly wage depending on experience, medical, dental, vision, company paid life, 401k with match, STD/LTD, etc.

Essential Functions:

Greet, seat, and serve guests in dining room.

Assigns and ensures all duties and responsibilities expected of the dining servers are completed correctly and in a timely fashion.

Provide a strong, professional connection and detailed communication between the front and back of house staff.

Appear and act in a professional manner.

Assist in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment for all employees.

Able to handle cash and credit transactions and account for financial shift income.

Have a strong working knowledge of the POS system.

Perform additional duties as requested by a manager at various times.

Lead on-going training and supervision of staff in proper set up, serving and clean up procedures, uniform standards, and proper Hospitality etiquette.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of food and beverage, etiquette and quality service standards.

Basic math skills.

TIPS Certified.

High school diploma and prior experience working in customer service.

English language and professional communications skills are required.

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
