Night time shift available only.

Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

Dispatch experience using radio equipment

Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment

Geographical knowledge of Miami Dade / Downtown Area

Knowledge of the towing industry or 911 experience

Ability to assist customers with their needs

Prior related experience helpful

Must pass background investigation and Pre-hire and random drug screen.

911 dispatch experience (preferred)

Bilingual English and Spanish

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for carrying out two-way communications between law enforcement personnel and field tow operators. Work involves screening routine and service telephone requests for police and others clients and relaying that information to tow operators in the field.

Duties also include, but are not limited to arrange for necessary Truck repairs in order to restore service and schedules, performing vehicle DMV record checks for tow operators in the field, keeping records of all tow units available, and responding to requests. Position reports to the shop managers.

Candidates preferred. Lateral means you have previous 911 Communications dispatching and/or call taking experience.

Schedule and dispatch drivers, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios, telephones and GPS.

Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from drivers, supervisors, inspectors using telephones or two-way radios. Prepare daily Route for Drivers, Receive or prepare work orders. Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.

Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.

Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.

Advise drivers about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
