The Job Details are as follows:The Legal Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing legal support to OCLC’s in-house counsel as well as partnering across the global enterprise on department priorities. The Legal Administrative Coordinator will work on transactional and compliance matters, assist attorneys in their work, and coordinate and perform administrative tasks. The Legal Administrative Coordinator will also coordinate department projects and serve as the lead for OCLC’s contract management system.

Works independently and under general instructions and is expected to determine how to accomplish work assignments in an efficient manner. The position will be privy to privileged and confidential information and will have responsibilities that require direct contact with internal clients and external parties.

Manage OCLC contracts and contract workflows and serve as the lead for OCLC’s contract management system.

Provide administrative support for OCLC attorneys in various content areas.

Work with attorneys to handle legal matters such as corporate filings and Board-related support.

Coordinate department projects at the direction of OCLC attorneys.

Develop and support collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team (e.g. centralized resources, process documentation, etc.).

Drive other operational efficiencies to increase productivity and contain costs.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and/or other education or experience in an administration, law-related or technology field

Law firm or corporate experience preferred

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Experience operating internal contract lifecycle management system (experience with Cobblestone is a plus) and electronic signature software (DocuSign is a plus)

Proactive approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, and solving problems

Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within the legal team and cross-functionally

Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and superior attention to detail

Technology-savvy skills

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
