Financial Analytics/Reporting Intern

The Financial Analytics/Reporting Intern will support the Finance team in developing and enhancing financial reports, models, and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have an interest in data modeling, Excel Power Query, and PowerBI. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analytics and reporting within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Education, Relevant Experience and Necessary Skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with data modeling and advanced functions.

Basic understanding of Power Query and PowerBI; prior experience is a plus.

Experience with databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards using Excel and PowerBI.

Utilize Power Query to clean, transform, and analyze data from various sources.

Support the Finance team in generating regular financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.

Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with different departments to gather and validate data for reporting purposes.

Participate in various finance projects and initiatives as needed.
