Electrical Project Manager - Mission Critical Location: Columbus, OH Salary: $100,000-$125,000/yr *The ideal candidate must be willing to travel* Description of Role SRI Telecom is seeking an Electrical Project Manager with Commercial Construction experience to lead a mission-critical data center build.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for seamless project handoffs, encompassing generators, 3-phase systems, AC/DC distribution, battery banks, rectifiers, and more, while reporting to the Project Executive (VP) and managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fast-paced electrical data center projects, adeptly managing diverse crews, materials, and timelines, and addressing typical project risks.

Salary Up to $125,000 plus generous per diem, vehicle, and gas allowances.

RESPONSIBILITES: Strategic Leadership: Assume direct responsibility for planning, executing, and overseeing project activities, fostering client relationships, and ensuring contract administration excellence.

Team Oversight: Lead and supervise diverse teams, including general superintendents, field supervisors, crew leaders, and apprentices, ensuring efficient project lay out and adherence to construction schedules.

Communication and Collaboration: Interface with branch managers, field managers, general superintendents, and the Human Resources Department, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across various project stakeholders.

Document Management: Review project documents, plans, and specifications, direct construction activities, and resolve difficulties, all while maintaining client relationships and adhering to project cost, time, and quality standards.

MAJOR TASKS: Project Planning: Translate project requirements into well-defined objectives and tasks, developing and maintaining project schedules, estimates, and status reports.

Risk Management: Anticipate, identify, and evaluate construction obstacles, proposing effective solutions, managing issues and changes, and assigning tasks as necessary.

Customer Satisfaction: Develop methods to measure customer satisfaction, ensuring that customer expectations for cost, time, quality, and results are met at project milestones and completion.

Financial Oversight: Manage project budget and financial resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.

Documentation and Closeout: Accountable for the creation, accuracy, and submission of final closeout documentation and deliverables, including as-built maps and diagrams.

Other Duties as Assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum 5 years in a related field, demonstrating proficiency in Electrical project management and Electrical Construction.

Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of safe construction practices and processes in the construction industry.

Customer Relations: Strong customer-facing skills and experience collaborating with General Contractors on large-scale builds.

Electrician Background: Candidates with a robust electrician background and project management skills will be given priority.

Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management, employing the PMBOK methodology.

Codes and Standards: Knowledge of safety and electrical codes such as NFPA 70E, NEC, UL, IEC, etc.

Relocation: Willingness to relocate or travel Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm in the field and office environment.
