Senior Product Designer

Snappy is a fast-paced startup specializing in delivering personalized gift experiences. Our mission is to create memorable moments through innovative and beautifully designed products. We are looking for a passionate Product Designer to join our design team and help us deliver user-friendly, appealing, and creative designs from concept to delivery in a collaborative and fun environment.

Responsibilities:

User Interface Design: Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.

User Testing: Plan and run user tests and other design research to inform design decisions.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement product features for our gifting platform.

Design System: Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve and refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints.

Process Development: Help build out design processes, tools, and culture.

Communication: Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders effectively.

Prototyping: Design and prototype elegant solutions for enterprise and consumer apps.

User Understanding: Understand user needs and incorporate them into design decisions.

Brand Alignment: Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints.

Agile Methodology: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Product Designer.

Skills:

Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Ability to discuss and explain design options clearly.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

Creative thinker with a vision and attention to detail.

Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Tools: Highly proficient in Figma.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, UI design skills, and ability to solve complex design problems.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in startups or fast-growing companies.

Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.

Experience with motion design or animation.
