Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenane and Engineering Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing maintenance teams, a proven track record in capital project management, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. While a four-year degree is not a requirement for this position, practical experience and a strong technical acumen are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating optimally and safely.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods that align with the company's objectives and production targets.

Lead and manage capital projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving production efficiency and reducing downtime through equipment upgrades and process improvements.

Manage the maintenance budget effectively, including procurement of parts, tools, and services while seeking opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.

Hire, train, and develop maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing preventative measures as necessary.

Utilize maintenance management systems to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory of spare parts.
