Kitchen Hand

We are looking for focused, highly organised Kitchen Hand with at least 2 years of experience in fast paced kitchens and is available on weekends. We are a vibrant and unique, that is very different to the traditional South East Asian Cuisine, we have a strong focus on quality, handmade food, sourced from local suppliers prepared fresh instore daily. We are passionate about our products and the amazing food that we create, and we hope you are too.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Washing dishes

• Assist with basic food preparation (eg chopping vegetables, washing fruit, preparing salads).

• Grilling and Deep frying meat, vegetables, fish and other foods

• Tidying and Setting up of the Kitchen

• Assemble and preparation of ingredients for cooking

• Adhere to kitchen hygiene and safety standards

• Monitor stock levels

• Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment

About You To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary and management experience. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating leadership and organisational abilities.

Proven experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment

High standard of food preparation and productivity

Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Knowledge of various cooking methods and knife skills

Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to multitask

Excellent communication sills

Great team work

Minimum 2 years of experience
