JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a proficient Data Architect to lead our technical solutioning and architecting of data and analytics architecture. In this role, the ideal candidate will drive end-to-end technical solutions, offer thought leadership on technical architecture and data modeling, and liaise with cross-functional business stakeholders to design and manage PLM data architectures. This role demands an extensive understanding from both a user and technical perspective, including full-scope implementations and management of complex databases and networking systems.

Develop and maintain end-to-end data and analytics architectures, ensuring compliance with data architectural principles and data governance policy.

Design PLM data management architectures, database systems, data models, and maintain data dictionary while tuning performance and scalability.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, including data warehousing modeling and integration design.

Ensure the evolution of data through designing and evolving schema, streamlining data operations, and maintaining peak database performance.

Provide expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterpriseâ s overall data architecture, collaborating with internal and external technical teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Strong experience in PLM data management and data modeling.

Proficiency in SQL, Teradata, HANA, Azure, and Snowflake databases and data integration tools.

Comprehensive knowledge in engineering process, data management, and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects) and programming (XML, JavaScript, ETL frameworks).

Minimum Educational Requirement: BS degree

The role offers full remote work flexibility, with an onsite option if the candidate prefers. A comprehensive understanding of data architecture principles, along with a minimum of a BS degree in a relevant field, is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in developing with MS SQL Store Procedure, Denodo, Mulesoft, Azure Data Bricks, and Snowflake, as well as a strong background in data integration and master data management in key business areas.
