This position is responsible for ensuring an outstanding level of network and telecom service by providing IT Level 2 and 3 support on all communication infrastructure. Responsible for supporting all DFJ locations and their employees. Responsible for operations and change control on network and PBX infrastructures in all environments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Administrate and manage all WAN/LAN/MAN, internet, intranet, satellite, microwave and other data communications and interfaces in all offices and sites across the US and the globe.

Analyze network and telecom topologies for traffic and capacity requirements and scalability

Train the IT Operations staff on operational procedures and troubleshooting techniques that may help alleviate Level 1 issues

Design and maintain LAN/WAN communications (between systems)

Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned or that operates within DFJ

Create, update and maintain all networking and telecom documentation for users and IT staff

Interface with and provide technical assistance users both local and remote

Provide technical assistance to the desktop support staff

Participate in the design of all network and telecom architecture

Maintain, troubleshoot and administrate the enterprise network and PBX systems to include the endpoints, call routing, vendors and VDN’s, call accounting software, ANCD software, E911, Voicemail and call recording as well as other added or changed Call Center software and appliances/devcies.

Interface and troubleshoot with vendors and vendor support for network and telecom

Work with infrastructure teamfor proper planning and building of any network or system projects

Resolve and communicate any issues in network queue of incident management system

Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, inventory and security measures associated with the company’s data and telecom networks

Other duties as assigned by management. NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Assist with Helpdesk administration

Assist in training more junior personnel

Serve as a backup to other technologies such as VDI, system infrastructure and Azure MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Ten years networking and telecom administration experience, preferably, with six years design and implementation

Direct hands-on knowledge of call center ACD’s (Routing, Vectors, VDN’s, Agents) support

Knowledgeable in testing and troubleshooting Voice systems from the server and network gear to the telecom device (headset or handset)

Knowledge of, installation and troubleshooting of building/facility cabling, patch panels, jacks,etc

Expert knowledge of PBX telecom systems and voicemail specific to Avaya CM6

Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN devices and their administration and operation

Skilled in routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, configuring static routes and failover

Strong knowledge in wireless networking, network security and industrial networking

Strong Knowledge of Cisco proprietary commands using IOS and NXOS

Familiarity of configuration of non-Cisco equipment like Dell, Juniper and Brocade

Strong Knowledge of implementing, upgrading and maintaining Avaya enterprise phone systems, One-X virtual handset and One-X agents

Strong Knowledge in SIP trunk configuration

Experience provisioning and implementing voice circuits, DID’s and toll-free lines

Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing effectively with all levels of personnel both technical and non-technical

Experience with Windows/Linux server administration

Must be able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent problem solving abilities and analytical thinking to work around unforeseen issues PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Fast paced multi user environment

Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays and non- standard business hours ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of TCP/IP and Cisco routers

Knowledge of SAN setup and support

Cisco Education and Certifications such as CCNA, CCDA, CCNP

Knowledge of AVAYA phone system and related software

Travel approximately 10-20%
