Merizen is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Infrastructure Planning cum Tech Expert to join our team focused on developing and optimizing port infrastructure in India. You will play a pivotal role in supporting various critical projects across the ports and logistics sector, leveraging your expertise to conduct feasibility studies, develop master plans, and implement green port initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the viability of new port infrastructure projects, including terminals, breakwaters, and cargo handling facilities.

Develop detailed master plans for port development projects, outlining infrastructure layout, cargo handling strategies, and operational procedures.

Prepare meticulous Due Diligence reports to evaluate potential investments in existing port infrastructure or related businesses.

Conduct in-depth traffic forecast studies to predict future cargo volumes and plan infrastructure capacity accordingly.

Contribute to the implementation of "Green Port" initiatives, integrating sustainable practices and technologies into port operations.

Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to project completion.

Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and cost estimates for stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree in Engineering (ME/MTech) with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech).

Minimum of 10 years' experience in port business operations, specifically in India or abroad.

Proven track record in conducting transhipment terminal planning studies, port facilities planning, and green port initiatives.

Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate project findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
