Target Range:$100,000.00/Yr. - $115,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

The VP, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), under the direction of the SVP Lending Compliance & LQC, is responsible for day-to-day management of the Bank's CRA strategy, planning and oversight program. Maintain the Bank's CRA Performance Context Report outlining results for Lending, Services, and Investments. Serve as Co-Chair for the CRA Management Committee.

The Compliance team works to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, which enables the bank to operate successfully and to continue the bank’s growth and innovation in a highly regulated environment. Consistent with its expertise, Compliance also leads the CRA, Fair Lending, Training, and Policy development at the bank. The Compliance division is a small, nimble group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that provides sound guidance to Business Units in support of the Unit’s growth and innovation objectives.

This Lending Compliance sub-division works to ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable federal laws and regulations which guide the Bank’s lending operations to allow successful continuance of the bank’s growth and innovation in a highly regulated environment. Consistent with its expertise, the Lending Quality Control (LQC) division is a small group of experienced underwriting/compliance staff that produces focused reports to the Lending Compliance Division and the applicable Business Units regarding the results of their review activity.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Annual CRA report to the FFIEC.

This encompasses preparing the raw data, verifying accuracy, submission and providing responses to queries from the FFIEC.

Maintain the Bank's CRA Public File according to regulatory requirements.

Engage and identify various internal or external lending programs that can be developed and initiated to positively impact the Bank's CRA ratings.

Prepare grant proposals for new Community Development service opportunities for approval.

Ensure community development lending and banking relationships are fully developed including retail banking needs.

Update as necessary the Community Development lead sheets, the CRA Scorecard, and its varying components.

Engage and coordinate with the Treasury Department to recommend or validate additional opportunities for Community Development investment activities of third party organizations dedicated to providing loans and/or engaged in development of LMI housing, particularly in LMI areas.

Supports Bank's efforts on all corporate compliance audits and Agency compliance examinations, including advance preparation, coordination of all information gathering between business units during the audit/exam and remediation actions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree.

3+ years experience in banking or mortgage banking or audit or regulatory compliance, with CRA regulation experience. Alternatively, 3+ years experience in community outreach and engagement work in CDFI, MDI or Non-Profits, preferably in fundraising, and project work, with some familiarity with financial CRA regulation.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong organization, project leading and planning, and communications skills are required.

Experience with Microsoft Excel desirable.
