As a Full Time Account Receivable Collection Specialist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a vital role in utilizing Electronic Health Records to streamline billing processes for various payers, including Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial Third Party, and Contract Payers. Your responsibilities will involve closely monitoring payments and outstanding accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collection of receivables to maintain financial stability. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service by offering support and guidance on direct client patient accounts, contributing to a positive experience for our clients and partners. To excel as a Full Time Account Receivable Collection Specialist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates should possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing, claims submission, and/or healthcare collections. Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record systems is essential for efficiently managing billing processes for various payers. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
