Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Power BI Developer/Analyst to support an Internal Audit team.

This role is vital to improving the governance, risk and control environment by providing independent assurance, advice and insights to senior leadership.

The successful candidate will assist with audit planning and execute analytical Power BI dashboards for risk assessment, testing evidence and fraud investigations.

This position reports directly to the Internal Audit Manager.

Summary of Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager to develop and design reports from various systems for risk assessment, testing evidence and fraud analytics.

* Apply statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from varied sources in support of audit work.

* Verify the accuracy and completeness of reports and data provided by internal IT or vendors to meet audit requirements.

* Act as a liaison between IT and Internal Audit on technology questions and reporting needs.

* Develop Power BI dashboards for visualization to represent audit risk assessment, audit findings or evaluate trends in financial data or internal controls as necessary.

* Suggest new methods to retrieve, gather, organize and use data to support the audit mission and other management needs.

* Work with audit staff to identify data of significant audit relevance using data, statistical and quantitative analysis.

* Handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.

* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Internal Auditor or provide consultative support to management.

Business Requirements: * This is a hybrid role, with work performed both in-office and remotely.

Education/Experience Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in data analytics, math, finance, computer science, or related field.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering data analytics from various systems in formats understandable to management.

Software Proficiency: * Advanced user of SQL and Power BI.

* Experience with Power Automate is preferred.

* Advanced user of Excel.

* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: * Proficient in data, financial, quantitative, and/or statistical analysis techniques.

* Ability to turn numbers into valuable data visualization.

* Familiarity with data analytics reports used in audits.

* Experience with data analysis tools (Power BI, SAS, etc.). * Familiarity with MS-based software (AX Dynamics is a plus). * Understanding of auditing standards or fraud investigation methods is a plus.
