The primary function of the Continuous Improvement Engineer is to support implementation of the Labor Management System.

Responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects and best practices by introducing cost-savings projects to ensure LMS and operational objectives are exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Attend account implementation meetings.

* Listen and troubleshoot customer management concerns.

* Be a resource for client improvement initiatives.

* Perform training based on training matrix and standard operating procedures * Develop client specific tools and modify standardized tools as necessary.

* Develop client specific reporting based on client requests.

* Continuous process improvements.

* Utilize lean techniques to improve overall efficiency of work areas.

* Develop and utilize method training for individuals.

* Schedule personnel forecast meetings with customer management.

* Identify staffing increases or decreases based upon achieving productivity goals.

* Monitor down time, performs troubleshooting as needed to create maximum efficiency Required Competencies: * Knowledge of industrial engineering and scientific workforce management.

* Knowledge of production standards, quality standards, labor components, and workplace safety.

* Knowledge of general manufacturing practices.

* Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

* Creation of production standards and associated incentive structures.

* Six Sigma knowledge or certification, LEAN methodology.

Education and/or Experience: Industrial Engineering degree is required with one to two years industry experience working in a production-oriented work environment, warehouse or distribution center.

Language Skills: * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures.

* Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

* Travel is expected to support continuous improvement and implementation projects within region.

Travel will vary up to 60%
