Investment Leader, Private Equity Health & Life

We are now looking to add an Investment Leader to our team in Denver, Colorado, with a focus on the Health & Life vertical.

Responsibilities: * As Private Equity Investment Leader you will source, execute and lead direct investments and thematic research opportunities in the Health & Life sector (inclusive of both majority buyouts and growth equity targets) * Manage quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investments * Manage all due diligence workstreams for prospective investments * Develop and review valuation models, lead the preparation of investment memoranda for, and present opportunities in, Investment Committee meetings * Lead negotiations of legal transaction documentation (SPA, SHA, MIP, etc.) with support from internal and external legal advisors * Contribute to structuring and raising debt financing together with Partners Group's Capital Markets team * Manage relationships with key investment stakeholders, counterparties and partners * Actively engage with the board of portfolio companies with responsibility for certain post-closing value creation work streams and board materials * Lead and mentor transaction team of junior professionals in and outside the investment process * Contribute to Partners Group client related activities (pitches, update meetings, etc.) * Manage various tasks related to Partners Group product reporting, asset management, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts What we expect * 8-10 years of investment experience, with a minimum of 4 years in private equity * Superior business acumen and judgment to analyze investment opportunities, market information and company financials * Ability to flex both upwards and downwards to coordinate the investment process and ensure highest quality of execution * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Prior experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred What we offer Partners Group is a global financial institution that retains the culture, pace and agility of a start-up.

Base pay range for this role is $275,000 - 325,000 and a performance-based bonus and equity are additional parts of the total compensation package Make an impact on the organization by taking a leading role in the growth of our US business.
