This Estimating/Dispatcher Assistant position pay range is $20-$23/hr depending on experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR/DISPATCHER ASSISTANT As our assistant estimator, most of your day is spent in an office environment on the phone or computer.

Essential responsibilities: * Pricing invoices * Ordering material * Dispatch service calls to field technicians * Preparing quotes/requesting increases on jobs * Meeting report deadlines * Researching labor and material costs * Review documents, specifications, and demands to understand scope of work * Follow up on status of submitted quotes and ordered material Qualifications for our Estimator/Dispatcher Assistant * HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required * 3 years' experience in estimating and/or dispatching, preferably in the home service industry (plumbing) * Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted * Computer literate and must be able to use general office machines and know the geographical territory * Strong interpersonal skills are required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Must be self-motivated and punctual * Experience gathering data information and inputting the information into the computer * Must be available to work on call after hours/weekend on a rotating schedule WORK SCHEDULE This position works a schedule of 7 am- 4 pm, with a 1-hour lunch, two paid 15 minutes and on call after hours/weekends as needed.
