The Director of Program Management is responsible for the overall execution of all North American programs.

This role leads a team of program/project managers and will ensure projects adhere to client requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams to deliverables, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines for automotive programs.

The Director of Program Management will also lead the development of processes and drive improvements across all regional projects/programs.

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

* Responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve business objectives and ensure the successful delivery of critical programs * Develop and implement the North American program management strategy to achieve business goals and objectives * Lead and manage a team of program managers to ensure successful delivery of critical programs * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program objectives with overall business strategy * Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to program success * Provide guidance and support to program managers in developing and executing project plans * Evaluate and optimize program processes and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness * Monitor and report on program progress, including budget and timeline adherence * Communicate program updates and status to senior leadership and stakeholders * Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the program management team * Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to inform program strategy * Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development * Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience * 8-10 years' experience in automotive program management * Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Project (or equivalent) * Technical expertise in Injection Molding/Plastics processes * Excellent written and oral communication required * Good presentation skills * Organized, customer focused, continuous improvement showing functional and technical proficiency in work
