Job Summary/Description: 23 WIFR in Rockford, Illinois, is accepting applications for a full-time Meteorologist to join our award-winning team.

The perfect individual will have Meteorology experience, prepare and deliver weather forecasts, and weather information as part of the overall WIFR 23 News team, be able to write, edit, and shoot engaging, informative, and compelling news and weather content; develop and execute community interest stories on a regular basis; consistently contribute to weather and news content on the station's social media and digital platforms; maintain an unequivocal commitment to accuracy, fairness, and ethics; meet daily production deadlines; and other duties as assigned.
