Facility Services Associate - Housekeeping

8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Essential Functions: * Maintains building interior by dusting furniture, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, and woodwork; sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, cleaning and vacuuming furniture and carpet; cleaning and restocking restrooms.

* Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up paper and trash.

* Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area; recycling materials.

* Keeps cleaning equipment operational by following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines.

* Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement.

* Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours.

* Perform various related duties as required.

* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

The job duties are not limited to the items as described above, duties can be added or changed at any given time.

Starting at $14/hr Required Education and Experience * three years commercial cleaning experience or a high school diploma/GED and one year experience.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Multitasking abilities.

* Good problem-solving skills.

* Be highly organized.

This is an on-site position.

Physical Requirements: Ability to exert, force, lift, carry, kneel, or otherwise move objects of at least 25 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, hold, and lift, possibly for extended period of time and to perform these functions in continuous sequence for up to eight hours.
