The Position: We're looking for a Facilities Technician!

* As a Janitorial and Facility Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing all property maintenance functions to ensure that the condition and appearance of the property are maintained satisfactorily.

Facility Technicians could also be required to perform regular cleaning, upkeep and maintenance.

Additionally, assembly of furniture and/or devices and coordinating with security would also be typical duties.

Ensure that all of the various systems, from plumbing to electrical to heating and air-conditioning, remain in working order.

* Ensure security of team members, students, and property by regularly patrolling campus * Act as point-of-contact for alarm systems * Perform general maintenance, repairs, grounds upkeep, and overall upkeep of properties * Carry out the implementation of various policies, standards, procedures and programs relating to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the properties * Manage all maintenance-related and capital improvement activity within an assigned property * Make general repairs including, but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpet, heating, air conditioning, appliance, equipment, drywall, carpentry, painting * Coordinate ongoing property improvement plan and preventative maintenance programs including, but not limited to fire systems, dryer vents, heating, air conditioning * Handle designated service requests within 24 hours * Coordinate and oversee cleaning maintenance contract.

Conduct a monthly walk-through with cleaning company to identify, address and resolve challenges * Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and to respond in cases of emergency * Works with on-site Sales and Operations Manager and Director to meet and exceed the needs of the facility * Develop scope of work for small improvements/services and seek out qualified contractors to bid the work * Adhere to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for the safe performance of job * Perform other duties as assigned and/or required Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent.
