Sr. Landman - TX Midland Basin

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Senior Landman.

Reporting to the Texas Midland Basin Land Lead, the Senior Landman will be responsible for all aspects of land work within their designated area.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities * Works with a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish goals and objectives within budgetary guidelines * Ensure company drill schedule expectations are met within the asset area with all company disciplines * Perform high level land functions without direct supervision * Clear title for drilling locations staying ahead of a fast paced, multi-rig horizontal schedule * Partner with brokers and attorneys in title and curative matters as appropriate * Expert interpreting, negotiating and preparing Land related contracts, such as: Oil and Gas Leases, Operating Agreements, Farmouts, Term Assignments and other similar documentation * Interact and provide the asset and operations teams with a high-level of Land support and information critical to ongoing development of properties * Work with the asset team in supporting operations and identifying new areas of improvement * Be able to communicate and build relationships with government entities (Railroad Commission, General Land Office, University Lands, etc.) * Able to mentor less experienced Landmen, support staff and summer interns * Provide guidance to land support staff Position Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management * Minimum of 5 years of industry experience * Experience in intercompany trades and acquisitions * Demonstrated work experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written * Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team oriented environment * Direct land experience in and knowledge of the Permian Basin
