Stants Capital Combustion is an established Mechanical Service and Contracting Company located in Latham NY looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team and help manage a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. The goal for any PM is to ensure all projects are delivered on time, under budget, per plans and specs and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Prepare RFI’s, Change Orders, Construction schedules, prepare/review submittals, create/monitor submittal schedules and equipment/material release schedules, closeouts, as-built’s, IOM’s
Communicate and coordinate daily with our Field Superintendents and Foreman to keep the field working efficiently and productive.
Direct liaison between our field staff and the owners, Owners representatives, Architects and Engineers
Attend site meetings, filed observation visits
Forecast needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to prevent lost time while paying attention to budgetary limitations
Evaluate project vitals / progress and prepare reports for office and management staff
Salary: $85,000.00 per year

Experience:
project management: 3 years (Preferred)
Work authorization:
United States (Required)
You should have:
Proven experience as a project manager in the MEP fields
knowledge of major mechanical systems; pipe, valves and fittings
A strong understanding of both the private and public sector
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and PM principles
Direct experience with School Work including the added pressures and precautions of short/strict timelines and an environment occupied by children.
Understanding of Prevailing wage, public bidding process
Healthy understanding of OSHA and other health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office, Project, etc.
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Bachelor's in project management or Mechanical Engineering Preferred but not required
