General Manager - Digital Media - Remote

Compensation: $125,000 - $155,000, plus incentives

Full Time Remote

Mommy Poppins is seeking a General Manager to take over the day-to-day operations from the founding Publisher and lead Mommy Poppins into its next stage of growth. The General Manager will collaborate with the Publisher to develop company strategy, grow and lead our fully remote team, and manage business operations to deliver on these goals.

The General Manager should be an exceptional operator and team leader with an in-depth understanding of the digital publishing landscape, monetization strategies, marketing and finance.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Publisher to set strategy, budget and revenue goals.

Take overall responsibility for all operational and financial performance.

Recruit, lead, inspire, and manage the team, building a high-caliber organization with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver their best work for ongoing and new initiatives.

Work directly with advertising sales to drive revenue growth as well as growing additional revenue streams.

Negotiate deals and partnerships to optimize operations and revenue.

Set and uphold appropriate procedures and business processes.

Exceptional leader with ability to recruit and manage top talent.

Demonstrate a strong business background and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to work directly with ad sales to drive programmatic, affiliate, ecommerce, and direct digital advertising sales.
