Masseys Pizza, Columbus’ oldest pizzeria has been making the perfect pizza taste since 1949. It started with one pizzeria still located in Whitehall, Ohio, and has expanded to 14 stores located in two states, including four full-service sports bars with fresh wings, burgers, and a full-service bar.

Massey’s Pizza is looking to expand and add to its management team throughout the central Ohio area. Massey’s Pizza has every available concept in the pizza business from a full-service sports bar to a pickup and delivery with a small dining room. We are currently looking to fill General Manager positions

Experience required for these positions and compensation based on position and qualifications

General Manager Responsibilities:

Scheduling

Ensure Massey procedures are Being Followed

Hiring

Terminations

Controlling Labor Costs/Cuts

Controlling Food Costs

Nightly Close Outs/Deposits

Maintenance List

Bank Deposits

Appearance of restaurant (Weekly Walk Thru)

Set Monthly Meetings

Organize Monthly Meeting Notes

Working knowledge of all positions

Ensure employees are trained and administer training tests

Ensure Positive Customer Interaction

Inventory Control

All Food Ordering

Job Description:

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

Ensure that all pizza, grill/fry line, and sub-area items are consistently prepared to the company standard.

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, and appearance of the restaurant.

Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.

Create a positive and productive working environment.

Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Control cash outs, and banks, by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures by restaurant policies.

Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection.

Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

Understand restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.

Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to the health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

Help maintain food production standards as per the company's manual and specifications.

Must be able to communicate politely and professionally with our guests and coworkers.
