Solution Architect – Supply Planning

Requirement:

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business process, o9’s solutions, technical

architecture and value proposition.

Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to delivery of o9’s solutions to customers across industries

and geographies.

Understanding of our customer’s requirements by leading workshops with functional and business owners of the

processes and documenting it.

Effectively map the business requirements into o9’s platform and come up with a clear, phased achievable

blueprint.

Work with a team of experts to configure, solution as per the design to solve deep operations / supply chain

problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring process.

Work with the customer to resolve issues and coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution process.

Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for a global user base.

Actively help in improving internal processes and product features based on customer feedback by interfacing

with the development and operations teams.

Support customer demonstrations.

Be a mentor and guide to junior members.

What you’ll have:

7 years of experience with implementing supply chain planning applications is a MUST. 2 implementations

Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R, SAS, CPLEX or similar

is desirable.

Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning,

Master Planning and S&OP.

Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-

SQL or similar is desirable.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.

Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.

Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your view point to manage and deliver to customer expectations,

even under pressure.

Ability to analyse and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the

highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key.

Experience: At least 7 years of experience with implementing Demand planning applications is a MUST. 2

implementations

Understand concepts of history cleansing, customer segmentation, statistical forecast algorithms and their uses,

forecast errors, consensus planning and S&OP process.

Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning,

Master Planning and S&OP.

Skills: Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL,

MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable

Functional Consultant – Demand Planning and S&OP

3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and in Demand Planning, S&OP module

Experience in

o Working with the o9 DP, NPI, MIEO, S&OP

o Configuring UIs, setting up rules, users etc on the Demand Planning module

o Working with planners / end-users on user acceptance testing

Understanding of key demand / forecasting concepts

Good grasp of various Forecasting Algorithms and their applications

Good to have - End to end implementation experience - 1 or 2

Functional Consultant – Supply Planning

3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and in Supply Planning o9

Experience in

o Working with the o9 Supply Planning, Scheduling

o Configuring UIs, setting up rules, users etc on the Supply Planning

o Good understanding of o9 solver and inventory module

o Working with planners / end-users on user acceptance testing

Understanding of key Supply Planning concepts

Good to have - End to End implementation experience - 1 or 2

Technical/Integration Consultant – Integration Skills

4 to 6 years of experience and in Integrating multiple Supply Chain solutions

Experience working with the o9 DP, SP, S&OP suite and Supply and Demand modules

Basic understanding of Supply Chain concepts, Forecasting Algorithms and their applications

Conversant with the product UIs, basic navigation etc.

Technical Expertise focused on

o Oracle Database concepts and Scripting

o Configuring Database objects and writing custom packages

o Creating and executing technical test plans

o ETL and processing large amounts of data from varied sources (Excel, Flat Files, Databases etc.)

o Integrating multiple solutions (ERP, PoS etc.)

Oracle Database tuning experience and SSIS

Mandatory skill sets-o9 implementation

Preferred skill sets-o9 implementation
