Role Summary:

Are you skilled in woodworking and passionate about creating high-quality finished products? We are seeking a dedicated Wood Finisher to join our operations team. In this role, you will utilize powered equipment to perform surface finishing, connection installation, apply coatings, and conduct inspections to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all finished products are free of damage, correctly coded, and align with engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair billet surfaces and apply coatings as per engineered drawings.

Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and its equipment.

Perform daily equipment inspections and control offcuts to minimize waste.

Operate a variety of handheld industrial tools, such as saws and sanders.

Follow safety procedures and quality standards meticulously.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding safety, quality, and production concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

Technical:

Proficient in carpentry and woodworking tools.

Experience with running machinery and a mechanical aptitude.

Detail-oriented with paperwork and computer-generated drawings.

Strong math skills.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma required; Post-Secondary Diploma/GED or higher preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in factory work or a related field.

Must have woodworking experience and be capable of using industrial power tools.

Commitment to a consistent work schedule and punctual shift arrival.

Working Conditions:

Physical effort includes the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working in environments with dust and noise.
