Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, the Regional Loss Control Manager partners with their stores and market teams to identify risks and develop long-term solutions to address those risks.

In this highly visible role, the Regional Loss Control Manager will work to promote a safe work environment for all team members, ultimately building a culture around safety.

Duties/Responsibilities: Encourages regulatory compliance through constant education of market and store leadership teams Supports and assists market and store leadership in the reduction of workplace injuries through the implementation of corporate driven directives Manages adherence to Asbury's environmental, health and safety program and actively participate in any inspections from Federal and State regulatory agencies (i.e.

OSHA, EPA, etc.) Identifies risks and implement best practices for hazard mitigation/abatement through regularly scheduled onsite environmental, health, and safety inspections Conducts regulatory or safety classroom-style training to address the current needs of each dealership/collision center Actively promotes and participates in store safety committee meetings Manages all Workers Compensation claims for the region Acts as a liaison between store leadership and adjusters Ensures streamlined communication among all parties Conducts monthly/quarterly claim reviews monitoring adherence to our return to work policy and managing our third party adjusters Works with Asbury's National Asset Protection Manager to assist in gathering information related to theft, vandalism, etc.

as needed Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization Must be 18 years of age Must be able to pass the pre-employment check (background & drug test) Education & Experience College degree in an Environmental, Health & Safety or related field 5+ years of experience in an environmental, health and safety related field managing a program for multiple locations in multiple states with multiple internal and external partners GSP/ASP designation desired, CSP designation a plus Ability and willingness to maintain minimum 50% overnight travel schedule Familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems and ability to conduct data analysis Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and Workers' Compensation claims management process Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to present complex data in lay terms Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence change and "sell" safety Ability to prioritize competing projects Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) IND5 Asbury Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
