As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Arteria AI, you’ll play an active role in the software development lifecycle of our core product, shaping and executing on our product roadmap, and working closely with our technical and delivery team in the context of our enterprise B2B SaaS platform for digital contracting.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside business partners, product owners, developers and other designers to define, solve, and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

Act as Design owner through conception, build and release of features.

Be experienced with creating and facilitating relevant UX workshops for stakeholders and be comfortable presenting ideas.

Exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to gather requirements, ideate, propose, and design creative solutions anchored to business use cases.

Have a deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process, including how to contribute, manage and follow a working design system, and integrate brand standards

An understanding of, and experience with, agile/hybrid agile work processes

Be proficient in software like Figma, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office for designing and prototyping

Be passionate about solving core design problems while understanding how your work fits in with other elements of the final experience (eg ability to collaborate with UX designers, developers, and technical SMEs)

Have a base knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of front-end code and architecture solutions, be flexible with designs, and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment.

Provide examples of innovative and/or future-focused thinking.

Requirements

We are hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer with the following experience:

3-5 years of relevant work experience in user experience

Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and processes

Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. UX, Product, Engineering)

Excellent organizational skills

Attention to detail

Willingness to work in an agile and fast-paced environment when necessary

Expertise in Figma for design and prototype, Powerpoint, Adobe CC, and other design tools

Ability to provide and receive design criticism constructively and appreciate its importance within the design process.

Persuasive and influential in selling teams on design solutions through storytelling and context setting.

Outstanding oral and written communication in English.

B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), design-related field or related industry experience or equivalent

Authorized to work in Canada and able to work in our Toronto office.
