Role Description

A technology-oriented senior developer is needed to join the RiskFinder Labs UI team within the Risk Technology space, to assist with the implementation of our strategic regulatory risk reporting platform to meet regulatory requirements including Fundamental Review of the Trading Book and Stress Testing across all asset classes in the firm.

You will be a developer with strong UI development skills, with expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript and deep knowledge of React and Angular. You should have some expertise in wire-framing tools and approaches.

You will be responsible for leading UI developers in a significant project, as well as mentoring and training more junior members of staff, and consequently excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required. Backend knowledge will be very helpful.

Your key responsibilities

You will be implementing new reporting solutions to business requirements as a feature-team developer under SAFE (Scaled Agile methodology)

You will be contributing to component-level solution design

You will be helping to estimate and break down development tasks for planning

Help drive platform migration onto cloud

Use broad systems knowledge to push extreme deployment and test automation

Your skills and experience

Expert-level knowledge in core UI languages (JavaScript, TypeScript)

Deep knowledge of React UX framework. Angular knowledge would be useful.

Experience in a dynamic or compiled language e.g. Python/Java/C++

Computer Science knowledge helpful

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Exposure to some of SQL (PL/SQL), data modelling, Big Data, NoSQL, UNIX, Linux knowledge
