The Construction Manager with Fitout and Interior Contracting Experience is responsible for overseeing and managing the fitout and interior contracting aspects of construction projects.

This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the fitout process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans and schedules for fitout and interior contracting projects.Coordinate with architects, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.Ensure timely procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for fitout works.Supervise and manage daily site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.Monitor the progress of fitout works and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site.Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used in fitout and interior contracting projects.Implement quality assurance and control measures to maintain high standards.Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions promptly.Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for fitout projects.Monitor project expenses and ensure they remain within the approved budget.Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement them as appropriate.Ensure that all fitout and interior contracting activities comply with health and safety regulations.Conduct safety inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks to promote safe working practices.Investigate and report accidents or incidents on site and take corrective measures to prevent recurrence.Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors.Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and any changes to all stakeholders.Ensure client expectations are met and address any concerns promptly.Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports.Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the project manager.Ensure all documentation is in compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction engineering, with a strong focus on fitout and interior contracting projects.Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant construction management software.Certifications: Relevant certifications in health and safety, project management, or fitout works are desirable.Language: Proficiency in EnglishStrong project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Tiger is B Corp Certified.
